The Composite Type C – Underpressure bursting disc is engineered for precise, reliable protection at low to medium burst pressures. Manufactured using advanced laser-cut technology, this disc delivers pinpoint accuracy in predetermined breaking points, enabling burst pressures as low as 20 mbar at 20 °C. Its segmenting, fragment-free opening pattern ensures full venting performance while protecting downstream equipment.
Available in a wide range of materials—including stainless steel, nickel, Inconel, Hastelloy*, and tantalum—the Composite Type C is built to withstand demanding operating environments. A precision-fitted PTFE or PFA sealing diaphragm is installed between the slotted metal foils, enabling safe use at temperatures up to 200 °C.
