The Reverse Buckling Type U bursting disc is engineered for medium to high-pressure applications and demanding process conditions involving high temperatures and significant pressure fluctuations. Manufactured from high-grade nickel, Inconel, Hastelloy*, or stainless steel, this full-metal rupture disc delivers exceptional durability and performance.

Using the Euler buckling principle, the dome is formed opposite to the pressure direction. When the calibrated burst pressure is reached, the dome reverses and ruptures cleanly along its precision scoring. This design offers superior fatigue resistance, long service life, and dependable protection under continuous cycling and extreme thermal conditions.
