METAGLAS® Type 64 — Round Head Threaded Sight Glass (Flush-Mount, Oil Level)

The METAGLAS® Type 64 Round Head is a flush-mounted, air-side threaded sight glass engineered for female metric or Whitworth (BSPP/BSPT) connections. Purpose-built for oil level indication, the low-profile round head delivers maximum visibility with minimal protrusion — clean, safe, and production-ready.

Design & Construction

  • Interface: Female metric or Whitworth (BSPP/BSPT) thread
  • Mounting: Flush-mounted on air side — round head, low build height
  • Optics: METAGLAS® metal-fused sight glass — permanent compressive pre-stress for fail-safe integrity
  • Body: Corrosion-resistant stainless steel (other alloys on request)
  • Sealing: O-ring or flat gasket options to suit media, pressure, and temperature
  • Duty Envelope: Pressure/temperature dependent on size and materials (provided at quote)
