The METAGLAS® Type 13.SW is a bolt-on, metal-fused sight glass designed to ANSI B16.5 flange dimensions and
configured for use with a wiper mechanism. Purpose-built for flat-face flanges, it delivers high-integrity visibility for
vessels and pipelines where condensation, fouling, or film build-up demands on-line cleaning.
Design & Installation
Standard: ANSI B16.5 bolt pattern and envelope
Flange Interface:Flat flanges only, without sealing ledge
Sealing: Requires a complete gasket (supplied to application spec)
Wiper Ready: Shaft/boss arrangement for manual wiper compatibility
Construction: Metal-fused glass ring (mechanically prestressed, leak-tight)
