The METAGLAS® Type 13.B3 is a precision-engineered metal-fused sight glass flange
manufactured to ANSI B16.5 fitting dimensions. Designed for installation on base flanges
or weld-neck flanges with a flat sealing surface, it offers exceptional strength, optical clarity, and
sealing reliability for demanding process environments.
This model is intended exclusively for flat-face flanges without sealing ledge and requires a
complete gasket to ensure proper sealing performance. The metal-fused glass construction delivers
permanent mechanical pre-stress, resulting in outstanding pressure and thermal resistance.
