Product Overview

These sight glasses are welded onto—or directly into—the vessel wall. The glass plate, positioned between dual seals, is securely clamped using a bolted cover frame, creating a rigid and reliable viewing assembly suitable for static and pressurised systems.

Reflex Style

Reflex sight glasses feature a single glass pane with precision-cut prisms on the process side. These prisms create a high-contrast reading that distinguishes liquid from vapour instantly:

• Liquid-filled zones: Absorb light, appearing black.
• Vapour/empty zones: Reflect light outward, appearing silvery.
• Excellent for clear or low-visibility fluids and long-distance readability.

Transparent Style

Transparent gauges utilise two opposing glass plates, enabling light to pass through the chamber for direct visual assessment of the process medium. They are the preferred option when the liquid’s characteristics must be seen clearly.

• True colour and clarity: Ideal for coloured, viscous, or interface liquids.
• Dual glass construction: Enhances visibility and inspection accuracy.
• Mica shields: Recommended for steam service to protect glass from erosion.
