Gauge Glass - Reflex
- Product Code: Gauge Glass - Reflex
John Moncrieff — Maxos Reflex Gauge Glass
At John Moncrieff Ltd, we supply Maxos Reflex Gauge Glass, recognised worldwide for its clarity, strength, and precision engineering. These glasses feature distinctive grooves on the viewing surface that increase the angle of refraction, providing a sharp, highly visible contrast between liquid and vapour phases — far clearer than standard transparent gauge glass.
Performance & Application
- Enhanced Visibility: The grooved surface provides excellent readability by reflecting light differently in the liquid and vapour zones.
- Steam Limitation: Mica protection cannot be applied to Reflex Glass, making it unsuitable for steam applications.
- Pressure & Temperature Ratings: Suitable for pressures up to 35 bar, and for non-steam applications up to 400 bar or 400°C.
- Supply Options: Available individually or as complete sets with gaskets.
Maxos — The Global Standard
We are proud suppliers of Maxos Brand Reflex Gauge Glass, the premium choice used by leading manufacturers such as Jerguson (Clarke Reliance), Penberthy, Klinger, Bonetti, Bunki Boeki, and Nihon Klingage.
Maxos Reflex Glass is manufactured from tempered borosilicate ("extra hard") or aluminosilicate glass, offering superior mechanical strength and chemical resistance.
