The fitter is "lip" part of a glass shade or globe that attaches to the shade-holder part of the fixture. Common fitter sizes (diameters) are 28mm (1-1/4") 57mm (2 ½), 85mm (3-1/4") and 100mm (4"). We measure the fitter as the outside diameter of the lip.
The height is the overall height of the shade or fixture. For shades we measure the height from the top of the fitter through the centre of the shade. For complete fixture the overall height, is taken from the top of the fitting to the base.
For shades the diameter, refers to the diameter measured at the widest point of the shade

If in the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase, we would be happy to exchange it for you, or give you a refund for the price of the goods. We would ask that you contact us prior to returning your order.
We pack with care, however if you shade arrives broken, then we will happily replace it for you. In some cases the shade you order maybe a one off, in which case we would recommend an alternative or give you a refund. If your shade does arrive broken, then please keep a hold of it until you have contacted us.
